제4조(상호주의) 외국인 또는 외국법인에 대하여도 이 법을 적용한다. 다만, 대한민국 국민 또는 대한민국 법인에 대하여 이 법에 준하는 보호를 하지 아니하는 국가의 외국인 또는 외국법인에 대하여는 그에 상응하여 이 법 또는 대한민국이 가입하거나 체결한 조약에 따른 보호를 제한할 수 있다.
Translation
① This Act shall apply to aliens or foreign corporations. However, for aliens or foreign corporations of a country that does not provide protection equivalent to this Act to citizens or corporations of the Republic of Korea, protection under this Act or treaties to which the Republic of Korea is a party or has concluded may be restricted accordingly.
