Article 3 (Processing of Unique Identification Information)

① A person falling under any of the following subparagraphs may process resident registration numbers and alien registration numbers as provided in Article 19(1) and (4) of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, when it is unavoidable for carrying out duties concerning the granting of fixed dates and the provision of lease information, etc. under Article 3-6 of the Act. <Amended by Act No. 13156, Jan. 22, 2016> 1. The mayor (including the administrative mayor under Article 11 of the Special Act on the Establishment of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and the Development of International Free City, but excluding the mayor of a metropolitan city, a metropolitan self-governing city, or a special self-governing city), the county governor, or the head of a district (referring to the head of an autonomous district); 2. The head of an eup, myeon, or dong; 3. A notary public under the Notary Public Act.
