심사평가원은 다음 각 호의 업무를 관장한다. <개정 2022.6.10>
1. 요양급여비용의 심사
2. 요양급여의 적정성 평가
3. 심사기준 및 평가기준의 개발
4. 제1호부터 제3호까지의 규정에 따른 업무와 관련된 조사연구 및 국제협력
5. 다른 법률에 따라 지급되는 급여비용의 심사 또는 의료의 적정성 평가에 관하여 위탁받은 업무
6. 그 밖에 이 법 또는 다른 법령에 따라 위탁받은 업무
7. 건강보험과 관련하여 보건복지부장관이 필요하다고 인정한 업무
8. 그 밖에 보험급여 비용의 심사와 보험급여의 적정성 평가와 관련하여 대통령령으로 정하는 업무
The Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service shall oversee the following duties. <Amended by Act No. 18323, Jun. 10, 2022> 1. Review of medical care benefit costs 2. Assessment of the appropriateness of medical care benefits 3. Development of review standards and assessment standards 4. Research and international cooperation related to the duties under subparagraphs 1 through 3 5. Duties entrusted concerning the review of benefit costs paid under other Acts or the assessment of the appropriateness of medical care 6. Other duties entrusted under this Act or other statutes 7. Duties recognized as necessary by the Minister of Health and Welfare in relation to health insurance 8. Other duties concerning the review of insurance benefit costs and the assessment of the appropriateness of insurance benefits as prescribed by Presidential Decree
제1항제8호에 따른 보험급여의 적정성 평가의 기준ㆍ절차ㆍ방법 등에 필요한 사항은 보건복지부장관이 정하여 고시한다. <개정 2022.6.10>
Matters necessary for the standards, procedures, methods, etc. for assessing the appropriateness of insurance benefits under subparagraph 8 of paragraph ① shall be determined and publicly announced by the Minister of Health and Welfare. <Amended by Act No. 18323, Jun. 10, 2022>
