Article 91 (Temporary Driver's License Certificate)
제91조 임시운전증명서

시ㆍ도경찰청장은 다음 각 호의 어느 하나의 경우에 해당하는 사람이 임시운전증명서 발급을 신청하면 행정안전부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 임시운전증명서를 발급할 수 있다. 다만, 제2호의 경우에는 소지하고 있는 운전면허증에 행정안전부령으로 정하는 사항을 기재하여 발급함으로써 임시운전증명서 발급을 갈음할 수 있다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26, 2020.12.22>
1. 운전면허증을 받은 사람이 제86조에 따른 재발급 신청을 한 경우
2. 제87조에 따른 정기 적성검사 또는 운전면허증 갱신 발급 신청을 하거나 제88조에 따른 수시 적성검사를 신청한 경우
3. 제93조에 따른 운전면허의 취소처분 또는 정지처분 대상자가 운전면허증을 제출한 경우
A metropolitan/provincial police agency chief may issue a temporary driver's license certificate, in accordance with the rules of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, to a person who applies for a temporary driver's license certificate in any of the following cases. However, in the case of subparagraph 2, the issuance of a temporary driver's license certificate may be substituted by inscribing the matters prescribed by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on the driver's license certificate possessed. <Amended by Act No. 11722, Mar. 23, 2013, Act No. 12844, Nov. 19, 2014, Act No. 14852, Jul. 26, 2017, Act No. 17842, Dec. 22, 2020> 1. When a person who has received a driver's license certificate applies for reissuance under Article 86. 2. When an application is made for periodic aptitude testing or renewal of a driver's license certificate under Article 87, or for ad-hoc aptitude testing under Article 88. 3. When a person subject to the revocation of a driver's license or a suspension of operation under Article 93 submits their driver's license certificate.
제1항의 임시운전증명서는 그 유효기간 중에는 운전면허증과 같은 효력이 있다.
A temporary driver's license certificate under paragraph ① shall have the same effect as a driver's license certificate during its period of validity.
