제19조 세계인의 날

국민과 재한외국인이 서로의 문화와 전통을 존중하면서 더불어 살아갈 수 있는 사회 환경을 조성하기 위하여 매년 5월 20일을 세계인의 날로 하고, 세계인의 날부터 1주간의 기간을 세계인주간으로 한다.
To foster a social environment where nationals and foreign residents in Korea can live together while respecting each other's cultures and traditions, May 20th of each year shall be designated as World People's Day, and the period of one week from World People's Day shall be designated as World People's Week.
세계인의 날 행사에 관하여 필요한 사항은 법무부장관 또는 특별시장ㆍ광역시장ㆍ도지사 또는 특별자치도지사가 따로 정할 수 있다.
Matters necessary for the World People's Day events may be separately determined by the Minister of Justice or the Mayor of a Metropolitan City, Mayor of a Directly Governed City, Governor of a Province, or Governor of a Special Self-Governing Province.
