제9조 정책의 연구ㆍ추진 등

법무부장관은 기본계획의 수립, 시행계획의 수립 및 추진실적에 대한 평가, 위원회 및 실무위원회의 구성ㆍ운영 등이 효율적으로 이루어질 수 있도록 다음 각 호의 업무를 수행하여야 한다. <개정 2025.1.31>
1. 국내 체류 외국인 및 제15조에 따른 귀화자에 관한 실태 조사
2. 기본계획의 수립에 필요한 사항에 관한 연구
3. 위원회 및 실무위원회에 부의할 안건에 관한 사전 연구
4. 외국인정책에 관한 자료 및 통계의 관리, 위원회 및 실무위원회의 사무 처리
5. 제15조에 따른 사회적응시책 및 그 이용에 관한 연구와 정책의 추진
6. 그 밖에 외국인정책 수립 등에 관하여 필요하다고 인정되는 사항에 관한 연구와 정책의 추진
The Minister of Justice shall perform the following duties to ensure that the establishment of the basic plan, the establishment and evaluation of implementation plans, and the composition and operation of the Committee and the Working Committee are carried out efficiently. <Amended by Act No. XXXX, Jan. 31, 2025> 1. Surveys on the actual conditions of foreigners staying in the country and naturalized persons pursuant to Article 15 2. Research on matters necessary for the establishment of the basic plan 3. Preliminary research on agenda items to be submitted to the Committee and the Working Committee 4. Management of data and statistics on foreign policy, and handling of affairs of the Committee and the Working Committee 5. Research on and promotion of social adaptation measures pursuant to Article 15 and their utilization 6. Research and promotion of other matters deemed necessary for the establishment of foreign policy, etc.
제1항 각 호의 업무를 효율적으로 수행하기 위하여 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
Matters necessary for the efficient performance of the duties referred to in subparagraphs of paragraph ① shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree.
