제21조 주한미군지위협정 해당자의 입국

제21조(주한미군지위협정 해당자의 입국) 출입국관리공무원이 「대한민국과 아메리카합중국간의 상호방위조약 제4조에 의한 시설과 구역 및 대한민국에서의 합중국군대의 지위에 관한 협정」의 적용을 받는 자에 대하여 영 제15조제1항부터 제3항까지의 규정에 따른 입국심사를 하는 때에는 신분증명서등에 의하여 그 신분을 확인하고 여권에 주한미군지위협정 해당자인을 찍어야 한다. 영 제29조제3항에 따른 체류자격 부여인을 찍을 때 또는 영 제30조제3항에 따른 체류자격 변경허가인을 찍을 때에도 또한 같다. <개정 2005.7.8, 2016.9.29>

① When an immigration official conducts an entry examination pursuant to Articles 15 (1) through (3) of the Enforcement Decree for a person subject to the "Agreement under Article IV of the Mutual Defense Treaty between the Republic of Korea and the United States of America regarding Facilities and Areas and the Status of United States Armed Forces in the Republic of Korea," the official shall confirm their identity by means of an identification document, etc., and stamp the passport "Subject to the SOFA." This shall also apply when stamping the permit for permission to reside under Article 29 (3) of the Enforcement Decree or the permit for permission to change status of residence under Article 30 (3) of the Enforcement Decree. <Amended on Jul. 8, 2005, Sep. 29, 2016>
