Article 25 (Permission to Extend Period of Stay)
제25조 체류기간 연장허가

외국인이 체류기간을 초과하여 계속 체류하려면 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 체류기간이 끝나기 전에 법무부장관의 체류기간 연장허가를 받아야 한다. <개정 2020.6.9>
A foreign national who wishes to continue staying beyond the permitted period of stay shall obtain permission to extend the period of stay from the Minister of Justice before the expiry of the period of stay, in accordance with the Presidential Decree. <Amended by Act No. 17347, June 9, 2020>
제1항에 따른 체류기간 연장허가의 심사기준은 법무부령으로 정한다. <신설 2020.6.9>
The criteria for reviewing the permission to extend the period of stay under paragraph ① shall be prescribed by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Justice. <Newly Established by Act No. 17347, June 9, 2020>
