문서 등의 송부는 이 법에 특별한 규정이 있는 경우를 제외하고는 본인, 가족, 신원보증인, 소속 단체의 장의 순으로 직접 내주거나 우편으로 보내는 방법에 따른다.
Transmission of documents, etc., shall be done by delivering them directly to the person, family member, guarantor, or head of the affiliated organization, in that order, or by sending them by mail, unless otherwise provided in this Act.
지방출입국ㆍ외국인관서의 장은 제1항에 따른 문서 등의 송부가 불가능하다고 인정되면 송부할 문서 등을 보관하고, 그 사유를 청사(廳舍)의 게시판에 게시하여 공시송달(公示送達)한다. <개정 2014.3.18>
If the head of a regional immigration and foreign affairs office recognizes that the transmission of documents, etc., as per paragraph ① is impossible, they shall keep the documents, etc., to be transmitted and publicly notify them by posting the reason on the bulletin board of the government building (廳舍). <Amended on March 18, 2014>
제2항에 따른 공시송달은 게시한 날부터 14일이 지난 날에 그 효력이 생긴다.
Public notification by posting as per paragraph ② shall become effective on the day when 14 days have passed from the date of posting.
