Article 11 (Business of the Corporation)

①

공단은 다음 각 호의 사업을 수행한다. <개정 2010.1.27, 2015.1.20>

  1. 1. 보험가입자와 수급권자에 관한 기록의 관리ㆍ유지

  2. 2. 보험료징수법에 따른 보험료와 그 밖의 징수금의 징수

  3. 3. 보험급여의 결정과 지급

  4. 4. 보험급여 결정 등에 관한 심사 청구의 심리ㆍ결정

  5. 5. 산업재해보상보험 시설의 설치ㆍ운영

  6. 5의2. 업무상 재해를 입은 근로자 등의 진료ㆍ요양 및 재활

  7. 5의3. 재활보조기구의 연구개발ㆍ검정 및 보급

  8. 5의4. 보험급여 결정 및 지급을 위한 업무상 질병 관련 연구

  9. 5의5. 근로자 등의 건강을 유지ㆍ증진하기 위하여 필요한 건강진단 등 예방 사업

  10. 6. 근로자의 복지 증진을 위한 사업

  11. 7. 그 밖에 정부로부터 위탁받은 사업

  12. 8. 제5호ㆍ제5호의2부터 제5호의5까지ㆍ제6호 및 제7호에 따른 사업에 딸린 사업

The Corporation shall perform the following businesses: <Amended by Act No. 9924, Jan. 27, 2010; Act No. 12216, Jan. 20, 2015> 1. Management and maintenance of records concerning insured persons and beneficiaries. 2. Collection of insurance premiums and other charges pursuant to the Insurance Premiums Collection Act. 3. Determination and payment of insurance benefits. 4. Examination and decision on appeals against decisions on insurance benefits, etc. 5. Installation and operation of industrial accident compensation insurance facilities. 5-2. Medical treatment, care, and rehabilitation for workers who have suffered occupational accidents, etc. 5-3. Research, development, testing, and distribution of assistive devices for rehabilitation. 5-4. Research related to occupational diseases for the determination and payment of insurance benefits. 5-5. Preventive projects, such as health check-ups, necessary for maintaining and improving the health of workers, etc. 6. Projects for the promotion of workers' welfare. 7. Other businesses entrusted by the Government. 8. Businesses incidental to the businesses referred to in subparagraphs 5, 5-2 through 5-5, 6, and 7.

공단은 제1항제5호의2부터 제5호의5까지의 사업을 위하여 의료기관, 연구기관 등을 설치ㆍ운영할 수 있다. <신설 2010.1.27, 2015.1.20>

The Corporation may establish and operate medical institutions, research institutions, etc. for the businesses referred to in subparagraphs 5-2 through 5-5 of paragraph ①. <Newly established by Act No. 9924, Jan. 27, 2010; Act No. 12216, Jan. 20, 2015>

제1항제3호에 따른 사업의 수행에 필요한 자문을 하기 위하여 공단에 관계 전문가 등으로 구성되는 보험급여자문위원회를 둘 수 있다. <개정 2010.1.27>

An Insurance Benefit Advisory Committee composed of relevant experts, etc. may be established within the Corporation to provide advice necessary for the performance of the business referred to in subparagraph 3 of paragraph ①. <Amended by Act No. 9924, Jan. 27, 2010>

제3항에 따른 보험급여자문위원회의 구성과 운영에 필요한 사항은 공단이 정한다. <개정 2010.1.27>

Matters necessary for the composition and operation of the Insurance Benefit Advisory Committee under paragraph ③ shall be determined by the Corporation. <Amended by Act No. 9924, Jan. 27, 2010>

정부는 예산의 범위에서 공단의 사업과 운영에 필요한 비용을 출연할 수 있다. <신설 2015.1.20>

The Government may contribute the costs necessary for the business and operation of the Corporation within the scope of the budget. <Newly established by Act No. 12216, Jan. 20, 2015>
