이 법은 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 경우에 적용한다.
1. 대한민국에서의 외국환과 대한민국에서 하는 외국환거래 및 그 밖에 이와 관련되는 행위
2. 대한민국과 외국 간의 거래 또는 지급ㆍ수령, 그 밖에 이와 관련되는 행위(외국에서 하는 행위로서 대한민국에서 그 효과가 발생하는 것을 포함한다)
3. 외국에 주소 또는 거소를 둔 개인과 외국에 주된 사무소를 둔 법인이 하는 거래로서 대한민국 통화(通貨)로 표시되거나 지급받을 수 있는 거래와 그 밖에 이와 관련되는 행위
4. 대한민국에 주소 또는 거소를 둔 개인 또는 그 대리인, 사용인, 그 밖의 종업원이 외국에서 그 개인의 재산 또는 업무에 관하여 한 행위
5. 대한민국에 주된 사무소를 둔 법인의 대표자, 대리인, 사용인, 그 밖의 종업원이 외국에서 그 법인의 재산 또는 업무에 관하여 한 행위
This Act shall apply to cases falling under any of the following subparagraphs. 1. Foreign currency in the Republic of Korea, foreign exchange transactions conducted in the Republic of Korea, and other related acts. 2. Transactions or payments/receipts between the Republic of Korea and foreign countries, and other related acts (including acts conducted in foreign countries that produce effects in the Republic of Korea). 3. Transactions denominated or payable in the currency of the Republic of Korea, and other related acts, conducted by individuals with an address or place of residence in a foreign country and by juridical persons with their principal office in a foreign country. 4. Acts conducted in foreign countries concerning the property or business of an individual with an address or place of residence in the Republic of Korea by such individual or their agent, employee, or other staff. 5. Acts conducted in foreign countries concerning the property or business of a juridical person with its principal office in the Republic of Korea by the representative, agent, employee, or other staff of such juridical person.
제1항제1호부터 제3호까지의 규정에 따른 "그 밖에 이와 관련되는 행위"의 범위는 대통령령으로 정한다.
The scope of "other related acts" referred to in subparagraphs 1 through 3 of paragraph ① shall be determined by Presidential Decree.
