제1조(목적) 이 법은 국민에게 건강에 대한 가치와 책임의식을 함양하도록 건강에 관한 바른 지식을 보급하고 스스로 건강생활을 실천할 수 있는 여건을 조성함으로써 국민의 건강을 증진함을 목적으로 한다.
