제1조(출입국심사) 출입국관리공무원은 「출입국관리법」(이하 "법"이라 한다), 「출입국관리법 시행령」(이하 "영"이라 한다) 및 이 규칙이 정하는 바에 따라 영 제1조의 규정에 의한 대한민국의 국민(이하 "국민"이라 한다)에 대한 출입국심사를 하는 때에는 여권명의인의 본인 여부 및 여권의 위ㆍ변조여부, 출입국규제여부 기타 법무부장관이 따로 정한 사항등을 확인하여야 한다. <개정 2005.7.8>

When conducting an entry and exit examination for nationals of the Republic of Korea (hereinafter referred to as "nationals") as stipulated in Article 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Immigration Act (hereinafter referred to as "Decree") in accordance with the Immigration Act (hereinafter referred to as "Act"), the Enforcement Decree of the Immigration Act (hereinafter referred to as "Decree"), and these Rules, immigration control officials shall verify the identity of the passport holder, whether the passport is forged or altered, whether there are any entry/exit restrictions, and other matters separately determined by the Minister of Justice. <Amended on July 8, 2005>
