청장ㆍ사무소장ㆍ출장소장, 외국인보호소장 및 출입국ㆍ외국인지원센터장은 다음 각 호에 관한 해당 기관의 업무를 지원할 사람이 필요한 경우 특별사회통합 자원봉사위원(이하 "특별사회통합위원"이라 한다)을 위촉할 수 있다. <개정 2018.5.15>

2. 외국인의 체류지 변경신고 등 각종 신고사항에 관한 사실확인 및 생활지도
The Commissioner General, Directors of Offices, Directors of Branch Offices, Directors of Immigration Detention Centers, and Directors of Support Centers for Foreigners and Immigrants may appoint Special Social Integration Volunteer Committee Members (hereinafter referred to as "Special Social Integration Committee Members") when personnel are needed to support the tasks of their respective agencies concerning the following items. <Amended by Act No. 15621, May 15, 2018> 1. Consultation on foreigners' grievances and guidance on civil petitions 2. Fact-finding and life guidance regarding various reporting matters, such as reporting changes in residence for foreigners
특별사회통합위원의 위촉 및 해촉에 관하여는 제53조의6을 준용한다.
The appointment and dismissal of Special Social Integration Committee Members shall be applied mutatis mutandis to Article 53-6.
