①
위조되거나 변조된 외국인의 여권ㆍ선원신분증명서에 관하여는 제5조를 준용한다. <개정 2014.12.30>
Article 5 shall apply mutatis mutandis to a forged or altered passport or seafarer's identity document of a foreign national. <Amended on Dec. 30, 2014>

출입국관리공무원은 이 법을 위반하여 조사를 받고 있는 사람으로서 제46조에 따른 강제퇴거 대상자에 해당하는 출입국사범의 여권ㆍ선원신분증명서를 발견하면 회수하여 보관할 수 있다.
Where an immigration control official finds the passport or seafarer's identity document of an immigration offender who is under investigation for a violation of this Act and is subject to deportation under Article 46, the official may retrieve and hold it.
