법무부장관은 제4조제1항 또는 제2항 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 외국인에 대하여는 출국을 정지할 수 있다. <개정 2011.7.18>
The Minister of Justice may suspend the departure of a foreign national falling under any subparagraph of Article 4 (1) or (2). <Amended on Jul. 18, 2011>

제1항의 경우에 제4조제3항부터 제5항까지와 제4조의2부터 제4조의5까지의 규정을 준용한다. 이 경우 "출국금지"는 "출국정지"로 본다. <개정 2011.7.18, 2018.3.20>
Article 4 (3) through (5) and Articles 4-2 through 4-5 shall apply mutatis mutandis to cases under paragraph (1). In such cases, "prohibition of departure" shall be read as "suspension of departure". <Amended on Jul. 18, 2011; Mar. 20, 2018>
