①
외국인 보호ㆍ재보호에 대한 이의 심사, 보호기간 연장 승인 등에 관한 업무를 수행하기 위하여 법무부에 외국인보호위원회를 둔다.
To perform duties related to the review of objections concerning foreigner protection and re-protection, and the approval of extension of protection periods, etc., the Foreigner Protection Committee shall be established within the Ministry of Justice.
②
외국인보호위원회는 그 권한에 속하는 업무를 독립하여 수행한다.
The Foreigner Protection Committee shall independently perform the duties that fall under its authority.
