①
제7조에 따른 사증은 1회만 입국할 수 있는 단수사증(單數査證)과 2회 이상 입국할 수 있는 복수사증(複數査證)으로 구분한다.
Visas under Article 7 shall be classified into single-entry visas (單數査證) that allow entry only once and multiple-entry visas (複數査證) that allow entry two or more times.

법무부장관은 사증발급에 관한 권한을 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 재외공관의 장에게 위임할 수 있다.
The Minister of Justice may delegate the authority to issue visas to the heads of overseas diplomatic missions or consular offices, as prescribed by Presidential Decree.

사증발급에 관한 기준과 절차는 법무부령으로 정한다.
Standards and procedures for visa issuance shall be determined by Ordinance of the Ministry of Justice.
