산업재해에 대한 국민의 이해를 증진시키고 산업재해근로자의 권익 향상을 도모하기 위하여 매년 4월 28일을 산업재해근로자의 날로 하며, 산업재해근로자의 날부터 1주간을 산업재해근로자 추모 주간으로 한다.
In order to promote national understanding of industrial accidents and enhance the rights and interests of industrial accident workers, April 28th of each year shall be designated as Industrial Accident Workers' Day, and the week beginning on Industrial Accident Workers' Day shall be designated as Industrial Accident Workers Commemoration Week.
고용노동부장관은 산업재해근로자의 날의 취지에 적합한 행사, 산업재해예방교육, 산업재해근로자 지원 등의 사업을 실시하도록 노력하여야 한다.
The Minister of Employment and Labor shall endeavor to carry out projects such as events suitable for the purpose of Industrial Accident Workers' Day, industrial accident prevention education, and support for industrial accident workers.
