근로조건의 기준을 확보하기 위하여 고용노동부와 그 소속 기관에 근로감독관을 둔다. <개정 2010.6.4>
In order to secure the standards of working conditions, labor inspectors shall be appointed to the Ministry of Employment and Labor and its affiliated agencies. <Amended by Act No. 10339, June 4, 2010>

근로감독관의 자격, 임면(任免), 직무 배치에 관한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
Matters concerning the qualifications, appointment and dismissal, and assignment of labor inspectors shall be determined by Presidential Decree.
