Article 55 (Operation of the Appeal Review Committee)
제55조 이의신청위원회의 운영

이의신청위원회의 위원장은 이의신청위원회 회의를 소집하고, 그 의장이 된다. 이 경우 위원장이 부득이한 사유로 직무를 수행할 수 없을 때에는 위원장이 지명하는 위원이 그 직무를 대행한다.
The Chairperson of the Appeal Review Committee shall convene the meetings of the Appeal Review Committee and preside over them. In this case, if the Chairperson is unable to perform his or her duties due to unavoidable circumstances, a member designated by the Chairperson shall act on his or her behalf.
이의신청위원회의 회의는 위원장과 위원장이 회의마다 지명하는 6명의 위원으로 구성한다.
The meetings of the Appeal Review Committee shall be composed of the Chairperson and six members designated by the Chairperson for each meeting.
이의신청위원회의 회의는 제2항에 따른 구성원 과반수의 출석으로 개의하고, 출석위원 과반수의 찬성으로 의결한다.
The meetings of the Appeal Review Committee shall be opened with the attendance of a majority of the members referred to in paragraph ②, and resolutions shall be adopted by a majority of the attending members.
이의신청위원회의 회의에 출석한 위원장 및 소속 임직원을 제외한 나머지 위원에게는 예산의 범위에서 수당과 여비, 그 밖에 필요한 경비를 지급할 수 있다.
Allowances, travel expenses, and other necessary expenses may be paid within the budget to the members, excluding the Chairperson and the affiliated executives and employees who attend the meetings of the Appeal Review Committee.
이의신청위원회의 회의에 부치는 안건의 범위, 그 밖에 이의신청위원회의 운영에 필요한 사항은 이의신청위원회의 의결을 거쳐 위원장이 정한다.
The scope of agenda items to be submitted to the meetings of the Appeal Review Committee, and other matters necessary for the operation of the Appeal Review Committee, shall be determined by the Chairperson after deliberation by the Appeal Review Committee.
