제88조에 따른 심판청구를 심리ㆍ의결하기 위하여 보건복지부에 건강보험분쟁조정위원회(이하 "분쟁조정위원회"라 한다)를 둔다.
To deliberate and resolve the appeal filed pursuant to Article 88, a Health Insurance Dispute Resolution Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Dispute Resolution Committee") shall be established in the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
분쟁조정위원회는 위원장을 포함하여 60명 이내의 위원으로 구성하고, 위원장을 제외한 위원 중 1명은 당연직위원으로 한다. 이 경우 공무원이 아닌 위원이 전체 위원의 과반수가 되도록 하여야 한다. <개정 2014.1.1, 2018.12.11>
The Dispute Resolution Committee shall be composed of up to 60 members, including the chairperson, and one of the members, excluding the chairperson, shall be an ex officio member. 분쟁조정위원회의 회의는 위원장, 당연직위원 및 위원장이 매 회의마다 지정하는 7명의 위원을 포함하여 총 9명으로 구성하되, 공무원이 아닌 위원이 과반수가 되도록 하여야 한다. <개정 2018.12.11>
The meetings of the Dispute Resolution Committee shall be composed of a total of 9 members, including the chairperson, ex officio members, and 7 members designated by the chairperson for each meeting, and members who are not public officials shall constitute a majority. <Amended by Act No. 16136, Dec. 11, 2018>
분쟁조정위원회는 제3항에 따른 구성원 과반수의 출석과 출석위원 과반수의 찬성으로 의결한다.
The Dispute Resolution Committee shall resolve matters by the attendance of a majority of the members as prescribed in paragraph ③ and the affirmative vote of a majority of the attending members.

분쟁조정위원회의 위원 중 공무원이 아닌 사람은 「형법」 제129조부터 제132조까지의 규정을 적용할 때 공무원으로 본다. <신설 2016.2.3>
