Article 60 (Exceptions to Payment of Pension Insurance Premiums)

① The cases where pension insurance premiums may not be paid pursuant to Article 91(1)7 of the Act shall be any of the following cases. 1. When hospitalized for 3 months or more due to illness or injury 2. When subject to subsidies or support under the 「Act on the Countermeasures against Disasters in Agriculture and Fisheries」, the 「Act on Countermeasures against Disasters」, or the 「Act on Disaster Relief」 3. When income has decreased to such an extent that maintaining the basic living standard prescribed by the Minister of Health and Welfare is deemed difficult if pension insurance premiums are paid, due to the occurrence of disasters or accidents, etc.
