제139조 유해ㆍ위험작업에 대한 근로시간 제한 등

사업주는 유해하거나 위험한 작업으로서 높은 기압에서 하는 작업 등 대통령령으로 정하는 작업에 종사하는 근로자에게는 1일 6시간, 1주 34시간을 초과하여 근로하게 해서는 아니 된다.
Employers shall not cause workers engaged in hazardous or dangerous work, such as work performed under high pressure, as prescribed by Presidential Decree, to work exceeding 6 hours per day and 34 hours per week.
사업주는 대통령령으로 정하는 유해하거나 위험한 작업에 종사하는 근로자에게 필요한 안전조치 및 보건조치 외에 작업과 휴식의 적정한 배분 및 근로시간과 관련된 근로조건의 개선을 통하여 근로자의 건강 보호를 위한 조치를 하여야 한다.
Employers shall take measures to protect the health of workers engaged in hazardous or dangerous work as prescribed by Presidential Decree, in addition to providing necessary safety and health measures, through appropriate distribution of work and rest and improvement of working conditions related to working hours.
