시ㆍ도경찰청장은 다음 각 호의 사람을 대상으로 그 자질을 향상시키기 위하여 필요한 경우에는 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 연수교육을 할 수 있다. 이 경우 연수교육의 통보를 받은 학원등 설립ㆍ운영자는 특별한 사유가 없으면 그 교육을 받아야 하며, 또한 제2호 및 제3호의 사람이 연수교육을 받을 수 있도록 조치하여야 한다. <개정 2020.12.22>

학원등 설립ㆍ운영자는 학원등에 강사의 성명ㆍ연령ㆍ경력 등 인적 사항과 교육 과목을 행정안전부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 게시하여야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>
