제145조 교통정보의 제공

경찰청장은 교통의 안전과 원활한 소통을 확보하기 위하여 필요한 정보를 수집하여 분석하고 그 결과를 신속하게 일반에게 제공하여야 한다. <개정 2008.1.17, 2024.3.19>
The Commissioner General of the National Police Agency shall collect and analyze information necessary to ensure traffic safety and smooth flow, and promptly provide the results to the general public. <Amended by Act No. 8850, Jan. 17, 2008; Act No. 19269, Mar. 19, 2024>
경찰청장은 제1항의 교통정보 수집ㆍ분석ㆍ제공을 위하여 교통정보센터를 구축ㆍ운영할 수 있으며, 교통정보센터의 효율적인 운영을 위하여 전담기관을 지정할 수 있다. <신설 2024.3.19>
The Commissioner General of the National Police Agency may establish and operate a traffic information center for the collection, analysis, and provision of traffic information under paragraph ①, and may designate a dedicated agency for the efficient operation of the traffic information center. <Newly Inserted by Act No. 19269, Mar. 19, 2024>
경찰청장은 제2항에 따라 지정받은 자가 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 경우에는 전담기관의 지정을 취소하거나 6개월의 범위에서 기간을 정하여 업무의 전부 또는 일부를 정지할 수 있다. 다만, 제1호에 해당하는 경우에는 지정을 취소하여야 한다. <신설 2024.3.19>
1. 거짓이나 그 밖의 부정한 방법으로 지정을 받은 경우
2. 제4항에 따른 지정기준에 적합하지 아니하게 된 경우
If a person designated under paragraph ② falls under any of the following subparagraphs, the Commissioner General of the National Police Agency may revoke the designation of the dedicated agency or suspend all or part of its business for a period not exceeding six months: Provided, That in the case of subparagraph 1, the designation shall be revoked. <Newly Inserted by Act No. 19269, Mar. 19, 2024> 1. 제2항에 따른 교통정보센터 구축ㆍ운영, 전담기관의 지정ㆍ운영 및 제3항에 따른 지정취소ㆍ업무정지 등에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다. <신설 2024.3.19>
