Article 147-3 (Designation of Agency Specializing in International Cooperation)
제147조의3 국제협력 전담기관의 지정

경찰청장은 도로교통 관련 국제협력을 위하여 기술의 국제교류, 국제표준화 및 국제공동연구개발 등의 업무를 전담하는 기관을 지정할 수 있다.
The Commissioner General of the National Police Agency may designate an agency to specialize in tasks such as international exchange of technology, international standardization, and joint international research and development for international cooperation related to road traffic.
경찰청장은 제1항에 따라 지정받은 자가 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 경우에는 전담기관의 지정을 취소하거나 6개월의 범위에서 기간을 정하여 업무의 전부 또는 일부를 정지할 수 있다. 다만, 제1호에 해당하는 경우에는 지정을 취소하여야 한다.
1. 거짓이나 그 밖의 부정한 방법으로 지정을 받은 경우
2. 제3항에 따른 지정기준에 적합하지 아니하게 된 경우
If a person designated under paragraph ① falls under any of the following subparagraphs, the Commissioner General of the National Police Agency may revoke the designation of the specialized agency or suspend all or part of its business for a period not exceeding 6 months. 제1항에 따른 전담기관의 지정ㆍ운영 및 제2항에 따른 지정취소ㆍ업무정지 등에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
③ Matters necessary for the designation and operation of the specialized agency under paragraph ① and the revocation of designation and suspension of business under paragraph ② shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree.
