과태료 납부금액이 대통령령으로 정하는 금액 이하인 경우에는 대통령령으로 정하는 과태료 납부대행기관을 통하여 신용카드, 직불카드 등(이하 "신용카드등"이라 한다)으로 낼 수 있다. 이 경우 "과태료 납부대행기관"이란 정보통신망을 이용하여 신용카드등에 의한 결제를 수행하는 기관으로서 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 과태료 납부대행기관으로 지정받은 자를 말한다.
When the amount of the administrative fine is equal to or less than the amount determined by Presidential Decree, payment may be made by credit card, debit card, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "credit card, etc.") through an administrative fine payment agency determined by Presidential Decree. In this case, "administrative fine payment agency" refers to an entity that performs payment by credit card, etc. using an information and communication network and has been designated as an administrative fine payment agency in accordance with the provisions of Presidential Decree.
제1항에 따라 신용카드등으로 내는 경우에는 과태료 납부대행기관의 승인일을 납부일로 본다.
When payment is made by credit card, etc. pursuant to paragraph ①, the date of approval by the administrative fine payment agency shall be considered the payment date.
과태료 납부 대행기관은 납부자로부터 신용카드등에 의한 과태료 납부대행 용역의 대가로 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 납부대행 수수료를 받을 수 있다.

과태료 납부대행기관의 지정 및 운영, 납부대행 수수료 등에 관하여 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
