차마의 운전자는 보행자나 다른 차마의 정상적인 통행을 방해할 우려가 있는 경우에는 차마를 운전하여 도로를 횡단하거나 유턴 또는 후진하여서는 아니 된다.
A driver of a vehicle shall not cross the road, make a U-turn, or reverse when it is likely to obstruct the normal passage of pedestrians or other vehicles.
시ㆍ도경찰청장은 도로에서의 위험을 방지하고 교통의 안전과 원활한 소통을 확보하기 위하여 특히 필요하다고 인정하는 경우에는 도로의 구간을 지정하여 차마의 횡단이나 유턴 또는 후진을 금지할 수 있다. <개정 2020.12.22>
The head of a metropolitan police agency may designate a section of a road and prohibit vehicles from crossing, making a U-turn, or reversing when it is deemed particularly necessary to prevent danger on the road and to ensure traffic safety and smooth flow. <Amended Dec. 22, 2020>
차마의 운전자는 길가의 건물이나 주차장 등에서 도로에 들어갈 때에는 일단 정지한 후에 안전한지 확인하면서 서행하여야 한다.
