제22조 앞지르기 금지의 시기 및 장소

모든 차의 운전자는 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 경우에는 앞차를 앞지르지 못한다.
1. 앞차의 좌측에 다른 차가 앞차와 나란히 가고 있는 경우
2. 앞차가 다른 차를 앞지르고 있거나 앞지르려고 하는 경우
No driver of any vehicle shall overtake the vehicle in front in any of the following cases: 1. When another vehicle is running parallel to the vehicle in front on its left side. 2. When the vehicle in front is overtaking or attempting to overtake another vehicle.
모든 차의 운전자는 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 다른 차를 앞지르지 못한다.
1. 이 법이나 이 법에 따른 명령에 따라 정지하거나 서행하고 있는 차
2. 경찰공무원의 지시에 따라 정지하거나 서행하고 있는 차
3. 위험을 방지하기 위하여 정지하거나 서행하고 있는 차
No driver of any vehicle shall overtake another vehicle that is stopped or moving slowly pursuant to this Act or any order issued under this Act. 1. A vehicle stopped or moving slowly due to this Act or an order under this Act. 2. A vehicle stopped or moving slowly in accordance with the directions of a police officer. 3. A vehicle stopped or moving slowly to prevent danger.

No driver of any vehicle shall overtake another vehicle in any of the following places. <Amended by Act No. 17707, Dec. 22, 2020> 1. Intersections. 2. Inside tunnels. 3. On bridges. 4. Places such as curves in the road, near the crest of a hill on a slope, or on a steep downhill slope, which the head of the municipal/provincial police agency deems necessary to prevent danger on the road and to ensure traffic safety and smooth flow, and which are designated by traffic control signs.
