제9조 행렬등의 통행

학생의 대열과 그 밖에 보행자의 통행에 지장을 줄 우려가 있다고 인정하여 대통령령으로 정하는 사람이나 행렬(이하 "행렬등"이라 한다)은 제8조제1항 본문에도 불구하고 차도로 통행할 수 있다. 이 경우 행렬등은 차도의 우측으로 통행하여야 한다.
A procession of students and any other persons or processions that may impede pedestrian traffic, as determined by Presidential Decree (hereinafter referred to as "processions, etc."), may, notwithstanding the main sentence of Article 8, Paragraph 1, use the roadway. In this case, processions, etc. shall travel on the right side of the roadway.
행렬등은 사회적으로 중요한 행사에 따라 시가를 행진하는 경우에는 도로의 중앙을 통행할 수 있다.
Processions, etc. may travel in the center of the road when marching along the street for socially significant events.
경찰공무원은 도로에서의 위험을 방지하고 교통의 안전과 원활한 소통을 확보하기 위하여 필요하다고 인정할 때에는 행렬등에 대하여 구간을 정하고 그 구간에서 행렬등이 도로 또는 차도의 우측(자전거도로가 설치되어 있는 차도에서는 자전거도로를 제외한 부분의 우측을 말한다)으로 붙어서 통행할 것을 명하는 등 필요한 조치를 할 수 있다.
When deemed necessary to prevent danger on the road and to ensure traffic safety and smooth flow, a police official may designate a section and order processions, etc. to travel along the right side of the road or the roadway (in the case of a roadway with a bicycle lane, this refers to the right side of the portion excluding the bicycle lane) and take other necessary measures.
