제92조 운전면허증 휴대 및 제시 등의 의무

자동차등을 운전할 때에는 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 운전면허증 등을 지니고 있어야 한다. <개정 2020.6.9, 2021.1.12, 2021.10.19>
1. 운전면허증, 제96조제1항에 따른 국제운전면허증 또는 상호인정외국면허증이나 「건설기계관리법」에 따른 건설기계조종사면허증(이하 "운전면허증등"이라 한다)
2. 운전면허증등을 갈음하는 다음 각 목의 증명서
- 가. 제91조에 따른 임시운전증명서
- 나. 제138조에 따른 범칙금 납부통고서 또는 출석지시서
- 다. 제143조제1항에 따른 출석고지서
When driving a motor vehicle, etc., one shall carry a driver's license, etc. falling under any of the following subparagraphs: <Amended by Act No. 17345, Jun. 9, 2020, Act No. 17897, Jan. 12, 2021, Act No. 18501, Oct. 19, 2021> 1. Driver's license, international driving permit or foreign license of mutual recognition under Article 96 (1), or construction equipment operator's license under the Construction Equipment Management Act (hereinafter referred to as "driver's license, etc.") 2. Certificates substituting for a driver's license, etc. as follows: a. Temporary driver's certificate under Article 91 b. Notice of payment for violation fine or order to appear under Article 138 c. Notification of appearance under Article 143 (1)
운전자는 운전 중에 교통안전이나 교통질서 유지를 위하여 경찰공무원이 제1항에 따른 운전면허증등 또는 이를 갈음하는 증명서를 제시할 것을 요구하거나 운전자의 신원 및 운전면허 확인을 위한 질문을 할 때에는 이에 응하여야 한다.
When a police officer requests the presentation of a driver's license, etc. or a substitute certificate under paragraph ① for traffic safety or the maintenance of traffic order while driving, or asks questions to confirm the driver's identity and driver's license, the driver shall comply.
