제99조(자동차운전학원의 등록) 자동차운전학원(이하 "학원"이라 한다)을 설립ㆍ운영하려는 자는 제101조에 따른 시설 및 설비 등과 제103조에 따른 강사의 정원(定員) 및 배치기준 등 필요한 조건을 갖추어 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 시ㆍ도경찰청장에게 등록하여야 한다. 대통령령으로 정하는 등록사항을 변경하려는 경우에도 또한 같다. <개정 2020.12.22>

① A person who intends to establish and operate a driving school (hereinafter referred to as "school") shall register with the Commissioner of the Metropolitan/Provincial Police Agency, in accordance with the Presidential Decree, after meeting the necessary conditions such as facilities and equipment under Article 101 and the staff quota and deployment standards for instructors under Article 103. The same shall apply when intending to change the registered matters prescribed by the Presidential Decree. <Amended by Act No. 17765, Dec. 22, 2020>
