제16조 협약의 체결

시ㆍ도지사나 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 폐기물의 발생 억제 및 처리를 위하여 관할 구역에서 폐기물을 배출하는 자 또는 이들로 구성된 단체와 협약을 체결할 수 있다.
A mayor, provincial governor, or head of a city, county, or district may conclude an agreement with persons who generate waste within their jurisdiction or with organizations composed of such persons, for the purpose of waste generation reduction and treatment.
제1항에 따른 협약의 목표, 이행 방법 및 절차 등에 필요한 사항은 해당 지방자치단체의 조례로 정한다.
Matters necessary for the goals, implementation methods, and procedures of the agreement under paragraph ① shall be determined by the ordinance of the relevant local government.
시ㆍ도지사 또는 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 제1항에 따라 해당 지방자치단체와 협약을 체결한 자에게 그 협약의 이행에 필요한 지원을 할 수 있다.
A mayor, provincial governor, or head of a city, county, or district may provide necessary support for the implementation of an agreement to a person who has concluded an agreement with the relevant local government under paragraph ①.
