ARTICLE 161-3 (ESTABLISHMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE OPERATING PLAN FOR THE SYSTEM FOR RECEIVING FINES AND PENALTY FEES)

① The Commissioner General of the National Police Agency may establish and implement an operating plan for the system for receiving fines and penalty fees, which includes the following matters, so that any person can conveniently inquire about the contents of fines and penalty fees and make electronic payments (referring to payments through the Internet, telephone communication devices, or automated teller machines). 1. Linkage of the information and communication network of the fine and penalty fee payment agency with the integrated payment processing system. 2. Real-time processing of fines and penalty fees, secure management, and operation of the integrated payment processing system. 3. Other matters necessary for the establishment and implementation of the operating plan as prescribed by Presidential Decree.
