①

정부는 퇴직연금제도가 활성화될 수 있도록 지원방안을 마련하여야 한다.

The Government shall prepare support measures to enable the retirement pension system to be activated.

②

정부는 퇴직연금제도의 건전한 정착 및 발전을 위하여 다음 각 호의 조치를 할 수 있다. <개정 2021.4.13>

  1. 1. 노사단체, 퇴직연금업무 유관기관ㆍ단체와의 공동 연구사업 및 행정적ㆍ재정적 지원

  2. 2. 퇴직연금제도 운영과 관련한 퇴직연금사업자 평가

  3. 3. 건전하고 효율적인 퇴직연금제도 운영을 위한 전문 강사 육성 및 교재의 지원

  4. 4. 그 밖에 근로자의 안정적인 노후생활 보장을 위하여 대통령령으로 정하는 사항

For the sound establishment and development of the retirement pension system, the Government may take the following measures. <Amended by Act No. 17228, Apr. 13, 2021> 1. Joint research projects and administrative and financial support with labor and management organizations, and institutions and organizations related to retirement pension business. 2. Evaluation of retirement pension providers in connection with the operation of the retirement pension system. 3. Fostering of expert instructors and support for teaching materials for the sound and efficient operation of the retirement pension system. 4. Other matters prescribed by Presidential Decree to ensure the stable retirement life of workers.

제2항제2호에 따른 평가는 퇴직연금사업자의 운용성과, 운용역량, 수수료의 적정성 등을 대상으로 하며, 그 밖에 평가절차 및 방법 등에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다. <신설 2021.4.13>

The evaluation under subparagraph 2 of paragraph 2 shall target the investment performance, operational capabilities, and appropriateness of fees of retirement pension providers, and other necessary matters concerning the evaluation procedures and methods shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree. <Newly established by Act No. 17228, Apr. 13, 2021>

정부는 퇴직연금제도의 급여 지급 보장을 위한 장치 마련 등 근로자의 급여 수급권 보호를 위한 방안을 강구하도록 노력하여야 한다. <개정 2021.4.13>

The Government shall endeavor to devise measures to protect workers' rights to receive benefits, such as establishing a mechanism to guarantee the payment of retirement pension benefits. <Amended by Act No. 17228, Apr. 13, 2021>
