①

국가 및 지방자치단체는 국민건강증진사업에 필요한 요원 및 시설을 확보하고, 그 시설의 이용에 필요한 시책을 강구하여야 한다.

The State and local governments shall secure personnel and facilities necessary for national health promotion projects and devise measures needed for the use of those facilities.

특별자치시장ㆍ특별자치도지사ㆍ시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 지역주민의 건강증진을 위하여 보건복지부령이 정하는 바에 의하여 보건소장으로 하여금 다음 각호의 사업을 하게 할 수 있다. <개정 1997.12.13, 2008.2.29, 2010.1.18, 2017.12.30, 2019.12.3>

  3. 3. 신체활동장려

  4. 4. 구강건강의 관리

  7. 7. 기타 건강교실의 운영등 건강증진사업에 관한 사항

The Special Mayor, the Governor of a Special Self-Governing Province, the Mayor, the County Governor, or the Head of a District (Gu) may have the head of a public health center carry out the following projects for the health promotion of regional residents, as prescribed by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Health and Welfare. <Amended by Act No. 5442, Dec. 13, 1997, Act No. 8868, Feb. 29, 2008, Act No. 9931, Jan. 18, 2010, Act No. 15260, Dec. 30, 2017, Act No. 16843, Dec. 3, 2019> 1. Health education and health counseling 2. Nutrition management 3. Promotion of physical activity 4. Oral health management 5. Examination and prescription for early detection of diseases 6. Investigation and research on community health issues 7. Other matters concerning health promotion projects, such as operating health classes.

보건소장이 제2항의 규정에 의하여 제2항제1호 내지 제5호의 업무를 행한 때에는 이용자의 개인별 건강상태를 기록하여 유지ㆍ관리하여야 한다. <개정 2019.12.3>

When the head of a public health center carries out duties under subparagraphs 1 through 5 of paragraph (2) pursuant to paragraph (2), they shall record and maintain the individual health status of users. <Amended by Act No. 16843, Dec. 3, 2019>

건강증진사업에 필요한 시설ㆍ운영에 관하여는 보건복지부령으로 정한다. <개정 1997.12.13, 2008.2.29, 2010.1.18>
