Article 5-2 (Composition and Operation of the Committee)
제5조의2 위원회의 구성과 운영

위원회는 위원장 1인 및 부위원장 1인을 포함한 15인 이내의 위원으로 구성한다.
The Committee shall be composed of no more than 15 members, including one Chairperson and one Vice-Chairperson.
위원장은 보건복지부차관이 되고, 부위원장은 위원장이 공무원이 아닌 위원 중에서 지명한 자가 된다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2010.1.18>
The Chairperson shall be the Vice Minister of Health and Welfare, and the Vice-Chairperson shall be designated by the Chairperson from among the members who are not public officials. <Amended on Feb. 29, 2008, Jan. 18, 2010>
위원은 국민건강증진ㆍ질병관리에 관한 학식과 경험이 풍부한 자, 「소비자기본법」에 따른 소비자단체 및 「비영리민간단체 지원법」에 따른 비영리민간단체가 추천하는 자, 관계공무원 중에서 보건복지부장관이 위촉 또는 지명한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2010.1.18>
The members shall be appointed or designated by the Minister of Health and Welfare from among those with extensive knowledge and experience in the promotion of public health and disease management, those recommended by consumer organizations under the 「Framework Act on Consumers」 and non-profit private organizations under the 「Support for Non-profit Private Organizations Act」, and relevant public officials. <Amended on Feb. 29, 2008, Jan. 18, 2010>
그 밖에 위원회의 구성ㆍ운영 등에 관하여 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
Other matters necessary for the composition and operation of the Committee shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree.
