Where all or part of a deposit is converted into monthly rent, the conversion may not exceed the monthly rent obtained by multiplying the amount converted by the lower of the following rates: <Amended on May 17, 2010; Aug. 13, 2013; May 29, 2016> 1. A rate prescribed by Presidential Decree, taking into account the lending rates applied by banks under the Banking Act and the economic conditions of the area concerned 2. The base rate published by the Bank of Korea plus an interest rate prescribed by Presidential Decree
