Article 30 (Permission for Change of Sojourn Status)
제30조 체류자격 변경허가

법 제24조제1항에 따라 체류자격 변경허가를 받으려는 사람은 체류자격 변경허가 신청서에 법무부령으로 정하는 서류를 첨부하여 청장ㆍ사무소장 또는 출장소장에게 제출하여야 한다. <개정 2018.5.8>
A person who intends to obtain permission for a change of sojourn status under Article 24 (1) of the Act shall submit an application for permission for change of sojourn status, along with documents prescribed by Ordinance of the Ministry of Justice, to the head of a regional immigration office, immigration office, or branch office. <Amended by Act No. 18341, May 8, 2018>
청장ㆍ사무소장 또는 출장소장은 제1항에 따른 신청서를 제출받은 때에는 의견을 붙여 지체 없이 법무부장관에게 보내야 한다. <개정 2018.5.8>
Upon receiving an application under paragraph ①, the head of a regional immigration office, immigration office, or branch office shall promptly forward it to the Minister of Justice, along with his or her opinion. <Amended by Act No. 18341, May 8, 2018>
청장ㆍ사무소장 또는 출장소장은 법무부장관이 제1항에 따른 신청에 대하여 허가한 때에는 여권에 체류자격 변경허가인을 찍고 체류자격, 체류기간 및 근무처 등을 적거나 체류자격 변경허가 스티커를 붙여야 한다. 다만, 외국인등록증을 발급 또는 재발급할 때에는 외국인등록증의 발급 또는 재발급으로 이를 갈음한다. <개정 2018.5.8>
When the Minister of Justice grants permission for an application under paragraph ①, the head of a regional immigration office, immigration office, or branch office shall affix a stamp for permission for change of sojourn status to the passport and enter the sojourn status, period of stay, place of work, etc., or affix a sticker for permission for change of sojourn status. Provided that, when issuing or reissuing an alien registration card, this shall be substituted by the issuance or reissuance of the alien registration card. <Amended by Act No. 18341, May 8, 2018>
