①
법 제49조에 따른 참고인 진술조서의 통역 또는 번역에 관하여는 제59조제2항을 준용한다.
With regard to the interpretation or translation of a record of witness statement pursuant to Article 49 of the Act, Article 59(2) shall apply mutatis mutandis.

출입국관리공무원은 진술내용이 복잡하거나 참고인이 원하는 경우에는 서면으로 진술하게 할 수 있다.
An immigration official may have a witness make a statement in writing if the content of the statement is complex or if the witness desires so.
