Article 88-4 (Leave of Absence for Aliens Subject to Repatriation)
제88조의4 송환대상외국인의 외출

청장ㆍ사무소장 또는 출장소장은 병원 진료, 여권 발급 등을 위하여 필요한 경우에는 송환대상외국인을 외출하게 할 수 있다. 이 경우 출입국관리공무원으로 하여금 그 송환대상외국인을 계호(戒護)하게 하여야 한다.
The Commissioner General, the head of an office, or the head of a branch office may allow an alien subject to repatriation to leave the facility for a temporary period when it is necessary for purposes such as medical treatment at a hospital or issuance of a passport. In this case, immigration control officials shall escort the alien subject to repatriation.
청장ㆍ사무소장 또는 출장소장은 제1항에 따라 송환대상외국인을 외출하게 하는 경우 관할 출입국항의 관계기관의 장에게 출입 조치 등 필요한 사항을 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 요청받은 기관의 장은 정당한 사유가 없으면 이에 따라야 한다.
When allowing an alien subject to repatriation to leave the facility for a temporary period pursuant to paragraph ①, the Commissioner General, the head of an office, or the head of a branch office may request the head of the relevant agency at the jurisdiction's immigration port to take necessary measures, such as allowing entry and exit. In this case, the head of the requested agency shall comply with the request unless there is a justifiable reason not to.
