Article 43 (Confirmation of Re-entry Permit by Head of Overseas Mission)
제43조 재외공관장의 재입국허가 확인

재외공관의 장은 재입국허가를 받고 출국하여 외국에 체류중인 자가 여권분실등의 사유로 재입국허가의 확인을 신청할 때에는 지체없이 외교부장관을 거쳐 법무부장관에게 사실조회를 하여야 한다. <개정 2002.4.27, 2013.3.23>
When a person who has departed after receiving a re-entry permit and is staying abroad applies for confirmation of the re-entry permit due to reasons such as loss of passport, the head of an overseas mission shall, without delay, inquire with the Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Justice regarding the facts. <Amended by Act No. 7465, Apr. 27, 2002; Act No. 11692, Mar. 23, 2013>
법무부장관은 제1항의 규정에 의한 조회를 받은 때에는 이미 허가된 체류자격ㆍ재입국허가일자ㆍ재입국허가기간등을 외교부장관을 거쳐 해당 재외공관의 장에게 회보한다. <개정 2002.4.27, 2013.3.23>

재외공관의 장은 제2항의 규정에 의한 회보를 받은 때에는 신청인의 새 여권에 재입국허가확인인을 찍고 서명하여야 한다. <개정 2005.7.8>
