대한민국에 체류하는 외국인은 항상 여권ㆍ선원신분증명서ㆍ외국인입국허가서ㆍ외국인등록증ㆍ모바일외국인등록증 또는 상륙허가서(이하 "여권등"이라 한다)를 지니고 있어야 한다. 다만, 17세 미만인 외국인의 경우에는 그러하지 아니하다. <개정 2023.6.13>
A foreign national staying in the Republic of Korea shall at all times carry their passport, seafarer's identity document, foreign national entry permit, alien registration card, mobile alien registration card or landing permit (hereinafter referred to as a "passport, etc."). This shall not apply, however, to a foreign national under 17 years of age. <Amended on Jun. 13, 2023>
제1항 본문의 외국인은 출입국관리공무원이나 권한 있는 공무원이 그 직무수행과 관련하여 여권등의 제시를 요구하면 여권등을 제시하여야 한다.
A foreign national under the main clause of paragraph (1) shall present their passport, etc. where an immigration control official or other authorised public official requests its presentation in connection with the performance of their duties.
