고용노동부장관은 근로자의 복지 증진을 위한 다음 각 호의 사업을 한다. <개정 2010.6.4>

1. 업무상의 재해를 입은 근로자의 원활한 사회 복귀를 촉진하기 위한 다음 각 목의 보험시설의 설치ㆍ운영
1. 가. 요양이나 외과 후 처치에 관한 시설
2. 나. 의료재활이나 직업재활에 관한 시설
2. 장학사업 등 재해근로자와 그 유족의 복지 증진을 위한 사업
3. 그 밖에 근로자의 복지 증진을 위한 시설의 설치ㆍ운영 사업

The Minister of Employment and Labor shall carry out the following projects for the promotion of workers' welfare. 1. Establishment and operation of the following insurance facilities to promote the smooth social reintegration of workers who have suffered industrial accidents: a. Facilities for medical care or post-operative treatment b. Facilities for medical rehabilitation or vocational rehabilitation 2. Projects for the promotion of welfare for injured workers and their bereaved families, such as scholarship programs. 3. Other projects for the establishment and operation of facilities for the promotion of workers' welfare.

고용노동부장관은 공단 또는 재해근로자의 복지 증진을 위하여 설립된 법인 중 고용노동부장관의 지정을 받은 법인(이하 "지정법인"이라 한다)에 제1항에 따른 사업을 하게 하거나 같은 항 제1호에 따른 보험시설의 운영을 위탁할 수 있다. <개정 2010.6.4>

The Minister of Employment and Labor may have the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Fund Corporation or a corporation established for the promotion of welfare for injured workers, which has been designated by the Minister of Employment and Labor (hereinafter referred to as "designated corporation"), carry out the projects referred to in paragraph ①, or entrust the operation of the insurance facilities referred to in paragraph ①, subparagraph 1, to such designated corporation. <Amended by Act No. 10337, Jun. 4, 2010>

지정법인의 지정 기준에 필요한 사항은 고용노동부령으로 정한다. <개정 2010.6.4>

Matters necessary for the designation criteria of a designated corporation shall be prescribed by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Employment and Labor. <Amended by Act No. 10337, Jun. 4, 2010>

고용노동부장관은 예산의 범위에서 지정법인의 사업에 필요한 비용의 일부를 보조할 수 있다. <개정 2010.6.4>

The Minister of Employment and Labor may subsidize part of the expenses necessary for the projects of a designated corporation within the scope of the budget. <Amended by Act No. 10337, Jun. 4, 2010>
