Article 32 (Upper and Lower Limits of Monthly Insurance Premiums)

The upper and lower limits of the monthly insurance premiums under Article 69 (6) of the Act shall be as follows, according to the following classifications. <Amended by Aug. 31, 2022, Dec. 27, 2022, Jan. 2, 2024, May. 7, 2024> 1. The upper limit of the monthly insurance premium shall be as follows: a. Monthly salary-based insurance premium for workplace-insured persons: An amount determined and publicly announced by the Minister of Health and Welfare, considering the amount equivalent to 30 times the average monthly salary-based insurance premium of workplace-insured persons in the year before the second year preceding the year for which the premium is levied (hereinafter referred to as "average monthly salary-based insurance premium of the year before the second year preceding" in this Article). b. Monthly insurance premium based on income other than salary for workplace-insured persons and monthly insurance premium for regionally-insured persons: An amount determined and publicly announced by the Minister of Health and Welfare, considering the amount equivalent to 15 times the average monthly salary-based insurance premium of the year before the second year preceding the year for which the premium is levied. 2. The lower limit of the monthly insurance premium shall be as follows: a. Monthly salary-based insurance premium for workplace-insured persons: An amount determined and publicly announced by the Minister of Health and Welfare, within the range of not less than 50/1000 and less than 85/1000 of the average monthly salary-based insurance premium of the year before the second year preceding the year for which the premium is levied. b. Monthly insurance premium for regionally-insured persons: An amount determined and publicly announced by the Minister of Health and Welfare, within the range of not less than 90/100 and not more than 100/100 of the monthly salary-based insurance premium under subparagraph a.
