Article 6 (Meetings of the Deliberation Committee)
제6조 심의위원회의 회의

심의위원회의 위원장은 심의위원회의 회의를 소집하고, 그 의장이 된다.
The Chairperson of the Deliberation Committee shall convene the meetings of the Deliberation Committee and preside over them.
심의위원회의 회의는 재적위원 3분의 1 이상이 요구할 때 또는 위원장이 필요하다고 인정할 때에 소집한다.
Meetings of the Deliberation Committee shall be convened when requested by one-third or more of the total members or when the Chairperson deems it necessary.
심의위원회의 회의는 재적위원 과반수의 출석으로 개의(開議)하고, 출석위원 과반수의 찬성으로 의결한다.
Meetings of the Deliberation Committee shall commence with the attendance of a majority of the total members and shall be decided by a majority of the attending members.
심의위원회의 위원장은 제3항에 따른 의결에 참여하지 아니한다. 다만, 가부동수(可否同數)일 때에는 위원장이 정한다.
The Chairperson of the Deliberation Committee shall not participate in the decisions referred to in paragraph ③. However, in case of a tie vote, the Chairperson shall decide.
심의위원회는 효율적인 심의를 위하여 필요한 경우에는 분야별로 소위원회를 구성할 수 있다.
The Deliberation Committee may form subcommittees by field when necessary for efficient deliberation.
제1항부터 제5항까지에서 규정한 사항 외에 심의위원회와 소위원회의 운영 등에 필요한 사항은 심의위원회의 의결을 거쳐 위원장이 정한다.
Matters necessary for the operation of the Deliberation Committee and subcommittees, other than those prescribed in paragraphs ① through ⑤, shall be determined by the Chairperson with the resolution of the Deliberation Committee.
