공단은 임원으로서 이사장 1명, 이사 14명 및 감사 1명을 둔다. 이 경우 이사장, 이사 중 5명 및 감사는 상임으로 한다.
The Corporation shall have one President, fourteen Directors, and one Auditor as officers. In this case, the President, five of the Directors, and the Auditor shall be full-time.
이사장은 「공공기관의 운영에 관한 법률」 제29조에 따른 임원추천위원회(이하 "임원추천위원회"라 한다)가 복수로 추천한 사람 중에서 보건복지부장관의 제청으로 대통령이 임명한다.
The President shall be appointed by the President upon the recommendation of the Minister of Health and Welfare from among persons recommended by the Executive Recommendation Committee pursuant to Article 29 of the 「Act on the Management of Public Institutions」 (hereinafter referred to as the "Executive Recommendation Committee").
상임이사는 보건복지부령으로 정하는 추천 절차를 거쳐 이사장이 임명한다.
Full-time Directors shall be appointed by the President after going through the recommendation procedures prescribed by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
비상임이사는 다음 각 호의 사람을 보건복지부장관이 임명한다.
1. 노동조합ㆍ사용자단체ㆍ시민단체ㆍ소비자단체ㆍ농어업인단체 및 노인단체가 추천하는 각 1명
2. 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 추천하는 관계 공무원 3명
The Minister of Health and Welfare shall appoint non-standing Directors from among the following persons: 1. One person each recommended by labor unions, employer organizations, civic organizations, consumer organizations, fisheries and agricultural organizations, and elderly organizations. 2. Three public officials recommended in accordance with the Presidential Decree.
감사는 임원추천위원회가 복수로 추천한 사람 중에서 재정경제부장관의 제청으로 대통령이 임명한다. <개정 2025.10.1>
The Auditor shall be appointed by the President upon the recommendation of the Minister of Finance and Economy from among persons recommended by the Executive Recommendation Committee. <Amended on October 1, 2025>
제4항에 따른 비상임이사는 정관으로 정하는 바에 따라 실비변상(實費辨償)을 받을 수 있다.
Non-standing Directors referred to in Article 4 may receive reimbursement of expenses in accordance with the articles of incorporation.
이사장의 임기는 3년, 이사(공무원인 이사는 제외한다)와 감사의 임기는 각각 2년으로 한다.
The term of office for the President shall be three years, and the term of office for Directors (excluding Directors who are public officials) and the Auditor shall each be two years.
