공단은 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 회계연도마다 사업 운영 계획과 예산에 관하여 보건복지부장관의 승인을 받아야 한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2010.1.18>
The Corporation shall obtain approval from the Minister of Health and Welfare for its business operation plan and budget for each fiscal year, as prescribed by Presidential Decree. <Amended by Act No. 9464, Feb. 29, 2008; Act No. 9931, Jan. 18, 2010>
공단은 회계연도가 끝나고 2개월 내에 사업 실적과 결산을 보건복지부장관에게 보고하여야 한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2010.1.18>

보건복지부장관은 공단에 대하여 사업에 관한 보고를 명하거나, 사업이나 재산 상황을 검사할 수 있으며, 필요하다고 인정하면 정관의 변경을 명하는 등 감독에 필요한 조치를 할 수 있다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2010.1.18>
The Minister of Health and Welfare may order the Corporation to report on its business, or may inspect its business or financial status, and if deemed necessary, may order changes to its articles of incorporation or take other supervisory measures. <Amended by Act No. 9464, Feb. 29, 2008; Act No. 9931, Jan. 18, 2010>
