Article 143 (Qualifications and Examination for Certified Industrial Safety and Health Advisor)
제143조 지도사의 자격 및 시험

고용노동부장관이 시행하는 지도사 자격시험에 합격한 사람은 지도사의 자격을 가진다.
Any person who passes the examination for certified industrial safety and health advisor conducted by the Minister of Employment and Labor shall have the qualification of certified industrial safety and health advisor.
대통령령으로 정하는 산업 안전 및 보건과 관련된 자격의 보유자에 대해서는 제1항에 따른 지도사 자격시험의 일부를 면제할 수 있다.
The Minister of Employment and Labor may exempt a portion of the examination for certified industrial safety and health advisor referred to in paragraph ① for holders of qualifications related to industrial safety and health as prescribed by Presidential Decree.
고용노동부장관은 제1항에 따른 지도사 자격시험 실시를 대통령령으로 정하는 전문기관에 대행하게 할 수 있다. 이 경우 시험 실시에 드는 비용을 예산의 범위에서 보조할 수 있다. <개정 2020.5.26>
The Minister of Employment and Labor may have a specialized agency, as prescribed by Presidential Decree, conduct the examination for certified industrial safety and health advisor referred to in paragraph ① on behalf of the Ministry. In this case, the costs incurred for conducting the examination may be subsidized within the scope of the budget. <Amended by Act No. 17303, May 26, 2020>
제3항에 따라 지도사 자격시험 실시를 대행하는 전문기관의 임직원은 「형법」 제129조부터 제132조까지의 규정을 적용할 때에는 공무원으로 본다.
When applying Articles 129 through 132 of the Criminal Act, the officers and employees of a specialized agency conducting the examination for certified industrial safety and health advisor on behalf of the Ministry pursuant to paragraph ③ shall be deemed public officials.
지도사 자격시험의 시험과목, 시험방법, 다른 자격 보유자에 대한 시험 면제의 범위, 그 밖에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
The examination subjects, examination methods, scope of exemption from the examination for holders of other qualifications, and other necessary matters for the examination for certified industrial safety and health advisor shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree.
